Coordinated by Heart of Mersey and Chaired by Professor Klim McPherson, Chair of the NICE Guidance Development Group with keynote speakers including Professor Mike Kelly, Public Health Director, NICE; Professor Francesco Cappuccio, world expert on salt; Paul Lincoln on “killer fats” and Deborah Arnott, Director of ASH (Action on Smoking and Health).

 

Heart of Mersey, in partnership with NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence), is hosting a Showcase Event, to highlight key aspects of the recently launched NICE Public Health Guidance on CardioVascular Disease prevention at a population level. This regional event, following the national launch of the Guidance on 22 June, will provide a unique opportunity to look 'indepth' at the Guidance and its implications for public health activity for CVD prevention.

 

Prior to the event you are also invited to attend the Heart of Mersey AGM commencing at 11:00 AM 30/09/10.

 

Lunch will be served from 12 noon onwards for those that are able to arrive early enough, before the conference starts at 1 pm.
